Hsinchu, Taiwan, July 1, 2024 – Sustainable Energy Solution Co., Ltd. (SES), a renewable energy power retailer and subsidiary of Sino-American Silicon Products Inc.(SAS), Nanya Technology Corporation and its affiliate Formosa Advanced Technologies Co., Ltd. today (July 1) to hold a renewable energy purchase agreement signing ceremony. This collaboration is set to begin in the third quarter of 2024 and SES will start to supply Nanya Technology and Formosa Advanced Technologies with green electricity. All parties will carry out a 10-year, 400 million kWh of renewable energy purchase cooperation with SES providing green electricity to support enterprises to reduce carbon emissions, makes a significant step towards ” joint sustainability and long-term business “.

SES will supply nearly 400 million kWh of green power to Nanya Technology and Formosa Advanced Technologies through renewable energy bundled REC (renewable energy certificates) system and other means. This is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 1.33 million households, assuming an average monthly household consumption of 300 kWh. In terms of carbon reduction, the total contracted volume translates to a reduction of approximately 197,000 tons of CO2 emissions, equivalent to the annual carbon sequestration capacity of 511 Daan Forest Parks, one of the largest forest parks in Taipei. With its comprehensive green energy solutions and expertise in green electricity integration and sales, SES is collaborating with Nanya Technology and Formosa Advanced Technologies to establish an environmentally friendly operational model, further enhancing their international competitiveness.
